Here's a translated English UK video from ProximityBBDO France tries to answer the question as to what's the point of social networks? The firm uses humor to promote their "LikeBox" package that helps guide would be new users as to what is and how to use Facebook, twitter, foursquare.

Enthiran

What’s Enthiran (also known as Robot)? It’s the highest-grossing Indian film of all time. The video above is the last ten minutes of the film and has the most mind boggling insane CG sequences I’ve ever seen.
Go here if you want to know what the movie is about.

History of Gaming (Video)

Been meaning to post this one for a while. The video is a university project by game design students in Munich. The film paints a very broad picture of the evolution of video games. According to game design student Florian Smolka the (almost) single shot film was made in a very short time frame.

Here's a rundown of all the games that appear in the film.

  1. Tennis for Two, Oscilloscope, 1958
  2. Pac-Man, Arcade, 1980
  3. Donkey Kong, NES, 1980
  4. Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega Genesis, 1991
  5. Street Fighter II, SNES, 1991
  6. Super Mario 64, Nintendo 64, 1996
  7. Final Fantasy VII, Sony Playstation, 1997
  8. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, Sony Playstation 2. 2002
  9. Ecco the Dolphin, Sega Dreamcast, 2000
  10. Super Smash Bros. Melee, Nintendo Game Cube, 2001
  11. Wii Sports Golf, Nintendo Wii, 2006
  12. God of War III, Sony Playstation 3, 2010
  13. Rock Band, XBox 360, 2008
I can think of quite a few games and consoles that should have been included as well as the latest in terms of gesture and mobile games. The gang behind the video is quite aware of this but it doesn't prevent us from liking the video and in the end it does what its meant to by giving us a small insight into the history and evolution of video games.  Great work guys!
